Delete your account

Applies to the SpeedyHandy app for iOS and Android

You can request deletion of your SpeedyHandy account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Send the request from the app or by email — whichever is easier.

Option 1 — From the app

  1. Open the SpeedyHandy app and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Go to the Me tab.
  3. Open your profile and tap Delete Account.
  4. Follow the instructions shown to submit your deletion request.

The in-app option links to the same request process described below, so you can also email us directly at any time.

Option 2 — By email

Email us from the address linked to your account, or include your registered mobile number so we can verify you:

Email a deletion request

We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before proceeding. Requests are normally completed within 30 days of verification.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile — name, mobile number, email address and password.
  • Saved service addresses and access notes.
  • Photos you uploaded with bookings.
  • Push-notification tokens and app preferences.
  • Referral links or share codes associated with your account.
  • Access to the account — you will not be able to sign in again or recover it.

What we keep, and why

A limited set of records is retained after deletion, because the law or legitimate business needs require it:

  • Transaction and invoice records — kept for up to 5 years to meet tax and accounting obligations. These records are detached from your profile and no longer identify you directly.
  • Dispute and fraud-prevention records — kept only for as long as needed to resolve an open dispute or investigate suspected fraud, then deleted.
  • Aggregated analytics — non-identifying statistics may be retained indefinitely.

Before you delete

  • Make sure you have no upcoming or in-progress bookings. Active jobs must be completed or cancelled first.
  • Download any receipts you need — they will not be available after deletion.
  • Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Creating a new account will not restore your history.
